In 1991, Janis Hunt Johnson experienced a dramatic physical healing through the power of prayer alone. Soon allergies and other chronic problems fell away.

Her goal today is to serve and heal others through the continued study and practical application of scientific prayer in everyday life.

She has owned an editing business since 1983, was a singer/songwriter in Chicago and LA, and now runs a spiritual healing practice, CS Renewal Healing Center, in Southern Oregon.

She has published articles on the universality of practical spirituality since 1997 for such publications as www.spirituality.com and The Christian Science Monitor.

Five Smooth Stones is her first book.
